Vicarious Enterprises, Inc. is a motion picture and television production company formed by partners Robert Dean Lewis and John G. Jones.
The express purpose of our company is independently producing quality motion pictures and/or television projects in all budget categories. These range from lower-budgets that take advantage of the latest advances in digital technology, up to and including major motion pictures and TV, utilizing major box-office talent, state-of-the-art special effects and techniques capable of competing with much larger budgeted studio pictures and TV movies, TV series etc. Our ongoing goal is to produce the projects we have already acquired, to continue to acquire additional quality properties (books, screenplays, video games, etc.) and to utilize the unique talents of hand-picked, proven professionals in the film-making community.
Vicarious Enterprises, Inc. has assembled a slate of highly commercial properties, and is now in talks with potential directors, producers, production talent, designers, special effects teams, etc. We are currently in negotiations with major film studios, TV production companies, and investors, regarding distribution and funding for our current slate of projects, all with high potential for both success and return on investment. These negotiations are currently headlined by the feature film AMITYVILLE HORROR: The Return, the first and only authorized sequel to the incredibly successful original movie, The Amityville Horror, based on the true story of The Lutz family. And our major TV series, AMITYVILLE NOW: The Jones Journals, based on the true experiences of John G. Jones, already the worldwide best-selling author of four Amityville books, and author of the soon to be released books the feature film and TV series are based on.
The two Amityville projects are, of course, only the beginning. Also in the current slate of Vicarious Enterprises’ properties are: a major action film set in one of today’s highly successful, but often sinister areas of the entertainment world; a sci-fi tale that reaches across time, space and into the inner dimensions; a period piece that delves into the wildly erratic life of one of the greatest musicians that ever lived; a supernatural thriller that could have been torn from the pages of today’s headlines; a remake of one of the great movie classics of all time; and two smaller budgeted films, both with the unique potential to become tomorrow’s new horror franchise.
